VW junk design flaws |
|
My wife has an 07 EOS it has 50600 miles on it that is 6 days past the waranty as her commute is 100 miles a day she could not get an appointment until then for an air conditioning system that quit while it is in we asked for the dealership to check the Top which stops at times and you must turn off the car and turn it back on. Well the extended warranty covers the AC but not the top and this the platinum care the dealer sold us.
So three weeks in the shop for an entire new AC system seems moisture got into it and locked the whole system up and we are waiting another week for parts since it seem VW can't seem to make enough parts to cover there junk system. The top 1400 dollars to fix and VW said they would generously pay 400 of it I told the rep so you admit it is a flaw in the car but you still want me to pay 1000 dollars of it so. The top will stay up and my money will go to Detroit or Japan since there does not seem to be a single European car that can withstand the American road and the looks do not equal the quality. All are ridiculously expensive to keep up and the company s obuiously don't care.
VW can take it cars back to Stuttgart and stay there.
Future Chevy owner at least they fix there stuff

What happened? |
|
What exactly happened to the top, and was the extended warranty from VW or a third party?
I have the VW Platinum service contract and they confirmed yesterday that the top mechanisms, and motors are covered.
Now I am concerned. Can you give me some details?
