 Temp Sensor |

Greetings - It's great to find a forum like this!!
I have a 2000 Golf, 2L, I think engine type AEG. I think I have a simple issue but without knowledge it's a big issue for me. I just want to replace the temp sensor (the fan isn't going on to cool the engine) which I think is probably a pretty simple thing. But I don't know where it goes and I have no special tools. Is this fairly simple and can you give me guidance? Thanks in advance. btw - I have the sensor and a clip:-)
