Stripping my damaged jetta and replacing parts???? |
|
Hey i recently got in an accident in my manual jetta. The main impact area was the front left side. Im on a tight budget and im wondering if a 2000 jetta gls is easy to take apart and buy new parts and replace them by myself? the parts would mainly be the lower radiator pump the radiator and a few electronic parts and wiring.

Hello, Easy? I just spent 4 days resurrecting a 1952 vintage cat at a gold mine . Last ran????? A 700 mile round trip for parts. Providing you did not bend your steering gear, or uni body sub frame, Its not a bad job.
To save money, carefully save your coolant. Wiring is easily repairable. Radiators can often be bought new on ebay for less than used at the wreckers. Have fun Allan
