According to my autodata cd P0455 is evaporative emission (EVAP) system - large leak detected ---- Probable cause is Hose connection(s), Intake leak, EVAP Canister, EVAP canister purge valve. Hope this helps you in some way.

People, EVAP deals with leaks in THOUSANDTHS of an inch. Thats slightly larger than a sewing needle will se a LARGE LEAK code, slightly SMALLER than that will still code as SMALL LEAK.
OFTEN times, evap codes are set by loose or bad gascaps...though rarely is that the fix overall. But leave the cap loose 1 day and it sets a 455 code.
Best thing is have a VW scanner (Rosstech VagCom or equivalent) and an evap smoke machine with flowguage(vacutec or redline are both good) and TEST the car and find out which part is leaking. Guess Replacing cannisters and solenoids because someone else had the same thing 2 years ago can get real expensive r eal fast. Find out whats broken BEFORE you buy parts! Most shops will charge 1 hour labor to diagnose an evap fault (make sure they have a smoke machine and enhanced VAG scanning or look elsewhere). Pay them their hour gratefully, then fix it yourself later if you must try and save money. Youll almost always come out cheaper by not guessing wrong.
THOUGH, Ive replaced about 60 purge solenoids this year. Not to encourage guessing or anything.

The Volkswagen Jetta is an automobile produced by German automaker Volkswagen since 1979. Positioned to fill an upscale saloon/sedan niche above the firm's compact/small family car Golf offering, it has been marketed over five generations variously as the Atlantic, Bora, City Jetta, Fox, GLI, Jetta, Sagitar, and Vento.
The model's sedan body style was developed in partial response to Volkswagen's observation that the North American market preferred that traditional configuration over the Golf's then unconventional hatchback layout.[1] The Jetta became the best-selling European car in the United States, Canada, and Mexico
