 Golf won't open with key fob ? |
 |
Golf TDI won't open using key fob, all of a sudden. It will work using mechanical opening. Battery is OK in fob. Is it likely to be some kind of sensor or receiver and is this generally expensive ? Anyone any ideas ?

See if FOB opens the car by touching tow bar, radio antenna, near turn signal light or wipers. If it does, take the car to the VW service centre for recalibration. FOB may also make unlocking work if you are near a metal gate (touch the gate with the FOB) or wire fence.
