 Getting my touareg |

In a few days Ill be picking up my new 07 touareg.
V6, Package 1, Reed Green with Black (Amethist) Leather.....
Test drove a touareg last week for the 2nd time and decided then, to upgrade from my 03 Passat. My only other SUV experience was a Chevy Blazzer, many many years ago. Of course there is no comparison. Similarily, I did test drive the BMW X5 and the Acura SUV as well. At the end of the day, touareg got my vote. All are fantastic cars and driver's personal preference is overwhelmingly the tipping point for one over the other.
Solid feel, quality interior, more than enough electronics, good passenger legroom and fantastic headroom all around. The primary con that I am familiar with is tire wear, concerning the stock tires.
I am optimistic the new 3.6 L V6 will be enough performance for my purposes. I am not planning to take on the Porsche Cheyenne 
Ill provide an update on my experience a week or two following pick up.
