Gauge questions for pros |
|
Ok well I like the gauges in 03 Jettas that I want to put them in another car of mine. The gauge cluster I'm going to use has a 7k tach and 160mph speedo off an automatic car. Does anyone know the wiring on these clusters? These have electronic pickups not cable driven right? Anyone put aftermarket gauges in there car and know what was involved in that? Its going to be going into an oldddd car so there wont be an ecu or anything. Is there a place where I can get a detailed diagram of each of the pins and there functions?

Hello, I run older Jettas. The alternators have a tach terminal that sends a signal to the tachometer. You need a wiring diagram. Our public library has them online if you have a card. Sorry I do not Allan
