Finding the right part number ??? |
|
Hi All
I need to replace the throttle body on our "P" reg 1.0 polo but I dont have a clue how to find the right part number.
After hours on google with no luck I was wonderring if any one on here could help.

Is theTB totally knackered.
if your just having probs with idling and stalling, all you need is some carb cleaner.
take off the big air intake pipe at the air intake end and spray a liberal amount of carb cleaner in there. (in the pipe) put the pipe back on quickly to avoid the carb cleaner evaporating, fire it up, it will probably splutter a bit as the crap is burnt off. It should then settle down, worked for me i have a 97 1.6 polo.
Its best not to tamper with the TB itself
