Hi all.
New to the forum & new to VW!
Currently own an Astra & was looking at the above car being my next purchase.
Been reading loads of reviews & happen to stumble across one written by Jeremy Clarkson on The Times On-line where he as absolutely slated it. 
Is this review justified? Should I be looking at perhaps another model? (2.0 GT Tdi for eg).
Would appreciate an expert opinion.
