Post subject:Audi Forum - To mod all at once or piecemeal?
I'm currently saving money for mods. What's everyones opinion. Save up until I have enough money for everything on my list, or grab stuff one at a time? Being in Canada, shipping costs, duty, and the availability of good sales (and certain parts) is harder to come by so waiting for that is less feasible. I'm just curious what other folk do. The idea appeals to me to wander into the garage and have one gigantic pile of all the stuff I want, install it all over a weekend, then have a totally transformed car Monday.https://192168ll.onl/https://xender.vip/https://testmyspeed.onl/
For reference, I'm looking at around 10+ grand in mods for my S4. IE tune and intake, AWE touring cat back exhaust, Rotiform SPF wheels with some Michelin Super Sports, probably some very mild lowering springs, and some body bits from Maxton Design.

After building a new PC, I reinstalled all the mods (about 200 including multi-esp mods) I was previously using, but I did it all at once instead of piecemeal over a span of months. My game is nowhere near as stable as it was, even if I run BOSS or any number of patchers.
Is there any sort of guide or rules-of-thumb about how I should go about installing these mods to ensure stability? I see people mention their "stable mod base" on this sub... are there particular mods I should be installing first to get to that point? IE texture replacers, USKP, animations, etc. I know 200 is a lot, and I'm going to cut that down, but even, say, 150 mods is a hell of a lot to test one by one. Shareitvidmate
