Post subject:Audi Forum - rear brake pad replacement
Can anybody tell me how to compress the piston back into the caliper so you can install new pads on an A4 1.8 turbo ('99)?

The piston must be rotated at the same time it is compressed. There is a special tool (sold at most auto parts stores) that will assist in doing this.
