intermittent fuel/ignition problem

Post subject:Jeep Forum - intermittent fuel/ignition problem
1994 jeep cherokee.

seems to run real good but also has a problem with the fuel system or ignition system. when driving, the engine will suddenly quit running, sometimes restarting itself within seconds yet sometime having to be restarted which at times doesnt happen right away and takes time. it runs well enough for me to believe that it most likely isnt a fuel problem but i dont know for sure. any others with this problem or an answer?
