Post subject:Audi Forum - How to remove rear strut? |

| How to remove rear strut and spring assembly on a Audi A6 (1999). I have the wheels off, the screws out put how do I manover the strut sammebly out the car. Do I have to remove some of the controll arms or the bolt holding the lower arm to the wheel bearing houseing. |

i have faced problem in removing the rear strut of my audi as well...i tried removing the control arms and it didn't help...so i just called up the mechanic:-)...i suggest u try removing the lower arm...good luck.

Try removing the lower arm. If that doesn't work just go to your Local Mechanic and get it checked up.
I doubt it's anything serious. |
