Anyone have an opinion on or own a
Grand Vitara? I am interested in
i nfo because I'm trying to decide on
the Toyota RAV4 or the Suzuki Grand Vitara.

I've never been a fan of Suzuki's apart from racing cars and bikes.

So I will have to say the rav4

We are also stuck in-between the two, a co-worker of mine has owned their GV for 6 years with no problems. They nicknamed it "little mountain goat" do to its handling ability in the snow and on the ice. I drive a Toyota pickup and I'm pretty loyal to the name. However, I believe from my reasearch that Suziki has come a long way since their Samaris and Sidekicks. The GV appears to be a dependable, well built "little mountian goat" My wife can have the GV if she wants it, but I'll continue faithful to my Toyota!

I myself is a big Suzuki fan, but on the other hand I also respect Toyota. Both are Japanies Manufacturers and are best at their level. If you want to use the vechicle at rural areas then go for Suzuki GV and if you want to use it at urban smooth roads then go for Toyota.
