| my 1989 tempo w/ac auto., keeps breaking alternator belts every few days since I bought it 4 months ago.have replaced the alternator, pulley,and dozens of belts!Why is this happening? Also noticed the pulley to the power steering is much larger than the alt. pulley,is it supposed to be? |

make sure tht the pully and belt r both ompatible with each other...else there will be war and tear and it will break. _________________ v7ndotcom elursrebmem

| I don't think it's a compatability issue. I suggest you get it checked out. An incompatable pulley shouldn't be a huge problem if it fits. I think it should definately be checked out. |
